108 days of Initiator training

India,  Bharata Veda Bhoomi, The land of the Veda

This year we will be tracing our tradition back to its source in both the relative and the absolute.  Initiator training will begin in Rishikesh with Exploring the Veda 7.  We will continue in Rishikesh for a month of rounding and instruction before we move up into the Himalayas for the last two months of the course.   Through group meditation and practice of the sidhis we will attain perfection of the mind.  Through an Ayurvedic routine and diet we will attain perfection of the body. Every day you will gain new knowledge of the Vedic Tradition and its integration with modern science.  The ultimate goal of this course is to create, in you, the ideal vessel to carry on the tradition of teachers of Vedic Meditation.

Prerequisites to be met before the beginning of the course in February 2011

  • Completion of Exploring the Veda 1-7
  • Completion of Mastering the sidhis 1-6
  • 1 year of practice of Vedic Meditation
  • If you have met these conditions or you plan to meet them by February then you may fill out this online application form
