Living abundance
A WISDOM RETREAT WITH THOM KNOLES
Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maharishi Vyasanand Giri Maharaj
Sedona, Arizona • January 3-8, 2027
“Abundance is, in fact, boundlessness living in life. Let us find boundaries and remove them, because that is what abundance actually means.”

WHAT IF ABUNDANCE WAS NEVER ABOUT HAVING MORE?
If you ever worry that the well might run dry in one area of life or another, the problem is rarely about how much you have or don’t have. It’s the belief that abundance means more: more money, more time, more energy, more connection…
But what if “more” was never the solution, but actually part of the problem?
This is where more has got us so far:
- Tens of trillions of dollars move through the economy every day, yet most people feel they do not have enough to get by
- Those who have much more than enough to meet their needs live in quiet fear of losing it
- We own every time-saving device ever invented, and more of us than ever feel “time poor”
- We have infinite ways to reach one another, yet loneliness is the #1 growing psychological epidemic worldwide
- We carry the sum of human knowledge in our pockets, but we remain confused about what actually matters.
All of it points to the same thing: as a collective, we misunderstand what abundance really is, and where it is actually found.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE ACQUISITIVE STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS
This misunderstanding is not just playing out on the world stage. It’s likely playing out in your own life.
- It shows up as the persistent sense of not-enough: not enough money, not enough time, not enough energy, not enough love. However much arrives, the feeling remains.
- It lives in the constant wanting. Every desire fulfilled simply clears the way for the next one, so that satisfaction is always one acquisition, one milestone, one relationship away.
- It has you measuring. Comparing your life with the lives of others, weighing your worth against theirs, and somehow always arriving at a deficit.
- It narrows things. A calling you can feel but cannot seem to fund. An easiness to life that dissolves the moment the pressure to provide returns. A future that looks like a shrinking set of options rather than an open field.
- And perhaps most profoundly of all, it leaves you with the sense that you are living at a fraction of your full potential. That there is more in you, more to give, more to create, more to become, and that some invisible ceiling stands between you and the fullness of who you actually are.
None of this is a personal failing. It is simply what happens when we go looking for abundance in the one place it has never been found: in the acquisitive state of consciousness.
It’s not “out there” in the size of the pile, but in removing the limits we set on what we’ll allow ourselves to receive.
“We have got a zero-balance mentality, that there is a zero somewhere, and if I ever hit that zero, then that is all she wrote. It could be dollars. It could be time. It could be love. It could be empathy, compassion. It could be whatever.”
– Thom Knoles.
ELIMINATE YOUR ZERO-BALANCE MENTALITY THIS JANUARY
LIVING ABUNDANCE is your invitation to examine and eliminate your own limits, in the company of other meditators, with Thom Knoles.
On this retreat, you will learn:
- The sources of abundance hiding in plain sight: money, time, connection, love, creativity, compassion, energy, adventure, opportunity
- Why “fixing limiting beliefs” doesn’t remove limits or create abundance consciousness
- The distinction between understanding abundance and living abundance.
- Why fixation and accumulation can be fear hiding behind a number
- The “zero-balance mentality” that keeps you bound, and how to get rid of it
- The pitfalls of “unlimited” thinking, and what abundance sustainability really asks of you
- How to tell the boundaries that limit you from the boundaries that serve you.
Join Thom this January for LIVING ABUNDANCE: an experiential retreat examining the subconscious story you have been running about what’s actually available to you, and how that story has been preventing you from enjoying abundance in your life.
WHO IS THE LIVING ABUNDANCE RETREAT FOR?
LIVING ABUNDANCE retreat is relevant for you if you:
- Regularly find you don’t have enough resources to match your needs or desires
- Often find yourself “overindulging” or binging in any area of your life
- Worry about having enough to sustain you in retirement
- Feel resentful of others who have more or “better” than you
- Often find yourself “running out of time”
- Feel financially abundant but unfulfilled in other areas of life
- Don’t have the energy you need to do what you’d like to do in life
- Desire a deep, committed partnership but continually attract unavailable candidates
- Struggle to reconcile trusting the Universe with the very real pressure of making money
- Feel a deep calling or purpose but feel blocked by financial realities or family responsibilities
- Frequently compare yourself to others
- Experience a “feast or famine” cycle in your income, creativity, or energy levels
- Have cravings or strong desires that keep you in a constant state of wanting
- Often say or think, “I don’t have…” or “I can’t afford…”
- Feel as if you have limited options in life
- Feel guilty for desiring things (a home, wealth, love) because you think you “should” feel fulfilled from within
- Question your “self-worth”
- Regularly look for signs from the Universe for reassurance when making a decision
LIVING ABUNDANCE will give you the shifts you need to lift your consciousness beyond those limitations and into a life that reflects the true abundance on offer.

A New Retreat Format
This retreat is a fresh take on Thom’s usual rounding or pilgrimage-based retreats.
Alongside Thom’s lectures and Q&A sessions, you will workshop the material with Thom, live and between sessions, individually or in small groups.
Over six days and five nights, you will not just be listening, you will put the knowledge to work in your own life before you leave for home.
You’ll also get the benefit of Thom’s knowledge and passion for the local area, with cultural experiences unique to Sedona and surrounds.
“One by one, through the lectures, the Q&A, and the light workshopping, participants will begin to remove the binding in the different areas of their life, and enjoy that infinite deserving power that is their birthright.”
– Thom Knoles.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER “ABUNDANCE” EVENTS?
Most abundance-themed events stay on the superficial level, fixating on manifestation, the law of attraction, vision boards, wealth affirmations… They work on the superficial layer of the mind and “fixing limiting beliefs” rather than your actual state of consciousness.
As Thom puts it, the world you experience is a readout of your own consciousness state, not the other way around. Change your state, and the world you assemble in your own awareness changes with it. This is the ground LIVING ABUNDANCE will build from.

Who is it that actually has abundance consciousness? Someone who can make anything happen, who can be the means whereby Nature gets anything done that Nature needs done.
– Thom Knoles.
